Alberto Rosende is an American actor and singer. He portrays Simon Lewis on Freeform's Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments.
Shadowhunters
On May 1, 2015, it was announced that he was cast as Simon Lewis for Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments.[1] Alberto has since read all of The Mortal Instruments books.[2]

Personal life
In 2013, Alberto was diagnosed with cancer but was declared cancer-free the following year.[3]
Alberto's relationship with his longtime girlfriend Amanda Colby Stewart, whom he was dating when Shadowhunters started filming and was known among the series' followers on social media, ended some time in 2016.[4] He briefly dated Madison Schreiber, but they broke up in 2017.[5] He is currently dating co-star Tessa Mossey.[6][7]
