- Sarah dated Dominic Sherwood, who plays Jace Herondale on the show, for over two years. Reports of their breakup came out in August 2017,[1] only days after Sarah's debut on the show.
- Sarah's casting as the Seelie Queen was partly fueled by her 2016 Halloween costume as the "Fairy Queen of the Swamp". Executive producer Matt Hastings saw the photo and sent it to the showrunners, immediately suggesting her casting as the queen.[2] Though her role was kept under wraps before it was announced at SDCC on July 20, 2017, several fans have already guessed after her appearance on the show was first announced.[3][4]
